After having a superfast lunch, there was the final climb to the top of Grindelwald.

This one was beautiful to watch, but super nasty to ride, at least with my ratio(50/34 – 11/32). 

Then descending on the other side, take a breath, replace both breaking pads pairs, do some shopping and then take the risk of a late climb, 1700 now.

Lunch energy was fully used to climb the final height.

Now, go for Grimselpass.

Knee hurts, achilly as well. Climbing works okay, stiff sometimes.

My first warm dish since I left Geraadsbergen, except the golden M.

The views pay back for any other tortures.

Tried it myself yesterday evening, now in the bikeshop…

He got roll eyes for the bike and he knew the brakes. Fixed! A big big young master.

After slow cycling yesterday and redeciding not to ride through to Grindelwald, i slept in front of a church, just before Fribourg.

Slowly the body gives some feedback on the first two day, fought too strong. Stiff left knee, stiff right achilly tendon. We gonna see how to get that running smoothly, again.

Passing haute jura, getting into the alps. Finally.

Some first gravel climbs, that finally made me walk for a while. Lucky I have a second pair of cleats with me 

Still a good way to go until crossing the border. Shelter from the sun together with a slightly fresh breeze.
