Auf jeden Fall ist es bereits heute eine Legende, obgleich es erst zum vierten Mal startet, und zum zweiten Mal aus Belgien, genauer aus Geraardsbergen. Das Ende des Rennens wird ungefähr 4000km weiter östlich sein. In Canakkale, im Orient. Es gibt auf der gesamten Reise vier Kontrollpunkte, der Rest der Tour ist frei zu planen.
